  • Medium garnet with some bricking around the rim. Light but beautifully fragrant. Red fruit, cherry, raspberry, wet soil, some savory elements and a hint of cedar. Dry, medium concentration, with some grip but mostly resolved tannins. Acidity is medium plus. The fruit feels fresh alongside earthy notes of mushroom, dried leaves, and forest floor. No trace of heat at all on the long finish.
I really enjoyed this. It is fully mature and should linger there for a year or so before it starts to decline. I would pop on the short term.
PAIRING: Burrata and white truffle sauce on some baguette. A+
