Dark golden, veering to a brown tint. Almost Bret nose, but leaves into burnt caramel, vanilla, etc. rich and thick mouthfeel. Toffee, coleita-like notes. Not fresh, a little tired. Very nice, but only for connoisseurs of this style, drink up.

Oxford Chardonnay Session: Deep golden colour. Rich, creamy wine with depth and complexity. Layers of tropical fruits play delightfully with the harmonious mellow oak. Tropical fruits, fig, nectarine, melon with a light honey drizzle and the merest whiff of an oxidative nutty character. Excellent wine that should continue to evolve

The oak stood out like a sore thumb on this. Loads of dusty, toasty oak overpowered the (excellent) fruit. Drunk on a warm day, this felt quite heavy, not a great bottle.

Had this bottle with our starters at a decent Chinese restaurant, and it drunk very nicely indeed. Seemed well balanced and went well with the food and the company. All agreed this bottle showed class, not at all over the hill.

Excellent quality with a length of finish that's as long as they come. Lots of complexity, with probably nuts & lemon & grass being the more noticeable flavours.
Good for 2-3 years more I guess, but there's be no harm in drinking this now

I've left this too long. Very yellowed in colour, aroma OK, but the taste very dusty and not pleasant.
