4th Saturday Group brown bagger (Rick's & Cris'): Pale straw color with aromas of orchard fruit and florals with a subtle waxy quality. Rich texture, with apple and tart white fruit flavors. Has a dirty quality; develops an anise note with air.

Very acidic, very focused. Tight muscadet. Lemon peel and ocean and a bit of brine. This would be terrific with oysters or really any seafood meal. I've been searching for those Muscadets that can stand up on their own and wow me, and this just misses the target.

Clear with light straw yellow color, Nose was predominately pear, lychee nut, flinty-earthy minerals, and flowery jamine. Nice levels of acid with oily viscus light body. Palate is in line with nose with a hint stone fruit tartness .. This wine possessed a pleasant mouth feel and finished nicely.. excellent and affordable food wine

Saline with nice minerality, but also ample fruit to make this friendly to people new to muscadet. 89-90, but considering the price, this is an excellent QPR. This wine also shows where point rating systems don't quite capture a wine - paired with the right foods, this wine will be terrific, and a mind-boggling QPR. Will be buying some of this for sure.

smells like classic muscadet, rocks and the seashore, very expressive nose, taste rich and salty, refreshingly green, classic and delicious, what a finish! fantastic value

Muscadet Dinner (Adam's House): Lovely wine, briney citrus fruit with bright acidity. When you drink it with these other wines, or with the Briords, it seems rather simple. Delicious, but simple.

Still drinkable, but oxidization has started to set in. Blame it on the nomacorc?

A little disappointing I must say. A bit thin, though enjoyable. I just expected something fuller with the few years of age.
On the high range of good.

Loved the '07, but this is seriously lacking the fruit to balance the amazing saline minerality. Unripe and thin.

Solid as always, very saline - totally fits the sea shell descriptor often used with this wine. 88-90+

I've had other vintages that have been quite good but this is just an ordinary muscadet.
