No detailed notes, one of a few we enjoyed on NYE. Berries and spice, nice mouthfeel and acidity. This was in a good place, everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

Nose of sweet cherry and cedar. On the palette sweet red fruits with Chinese Five Spice in the background (never ran into that before in a wine). Not only has this aged well, but was very interesting to drink.

Wine, Browns and my 55th Birthday (My Home): Seems a bit shut down at the moment. Nice black cherry fruit on the nose and palate. With air, it showed more depth. I would hold this for now. It took a long time to really show its stuff.

A bunch of Sineann: Boy, is this in a great place right now. Sure, it may still improve a bit, but at almost 5 years from vintage, it is very nice. A powerful Oregon Pinot. Cherries, dark cherries, some black licorice notes. On the palate, this is juicy and well balanced. Lots of fruit but a nice underlying minerality. Long finish. I love 08 as a vintage, but this is one of the better ones.

Rhys, Flam, Sineann, Saxum, SQN: The glass corked wines age very slowly IMO and this really hasn't budged much. Still very young. This was a great vintage for this wine as well. Deep ruby in color. The nose has cherries, cherry pie filling, and a slight bit of earthy/barnyard. Great voluptuous texture. On the palate, lots of fresh cherries, tightly layered with some earth. Wonderful balance. Worked well with food. Long finish. Years away from peak though.

More body and darker hue than I anticipated. Bouquet was not expressive yet the pallet offered wonderful, bright red fruit, earthy, and mineral flavors.

This wine is drinking well right now. Strawberry-rhubarb pie. 30 second finish. Ultra balanced. Rich, dark and full body---consistent with previous notes.

Taste at S&W. Strawberry, earth, ripe but clean saline aromatics. Nice darker fruit on the palate. Great acidity. Nice mouth feel. Not as layered and complex as the Resonance vineyard from my memory - much more mineral driven as well. Really great wine; I'm a huge fan of Sineann's Pinot bottlings.

bright minerality and pencil led bouquet. Deep, dark red fruit and spice cake pallet. Plush mouth feel. Medium finish, nice balance. Overall, better experience this bottle but less burgundian and more new world fruit forward experience.

Agree with the previous comment - wish I had waited on this for another year or two. Nose is very tight, even after a couple of hours of decanting, with aromas of earth, sage, juniper, a hint of maple syrup, and not much fruit; a bit simple on the attack, with nice acidity, and clean, bright dark fruit flavors, but it builds nicely with the tannins into the finish; the finish is long, still a bit tannic, and ending in cherries and herbs. Disappointing at this stage, given the price.

Notes from day 2. Purple in color. Nose of black raspberry, dark fruit, a little earth, some spice. Palate of black raspberry, a little black cherry, little earth, and some spice/nutmeg. The finish is above average in length and decent balance to this forward wine. The mouthfeel is a little thin because the midpalate isn't very developed at this point. I guess this is shut down somewhat currently. Hold: 50+5+11+16+6

Rounding up to 93 from 92. So smooth and juicy. Great mouthfeel, great fruit, great balance. Not the most complex wine in the world, but man, it is just yummy from beginning to end.

Dark cherries and spice in a soft, silky package. Lovely, beautifully made wine from a great vintage.

PnP. Rich bouquet, smells like a bruiser. Palate is extremely bright, lots of red fruit, but bordering on lactic acidity. Good but not great.
