Consistent with previous bottles. Light golden color. Great nose of green apple, pear, some light honeycomb and minerality. Light citrus, apple and a slightly spicy note on the palate with great acid, well balanced with just a touch of sweetness on the back end. This is how I enjoy my kabinett rieslings.

On the dry side compared with a Mosel Kabinett. This is a very well structured Riesling. Razor sharp acidity and tightly packed flavors of white peach and citrus. This actually became more expressive on the second and even third day, which bodes well for it's future.

Pretty consistent notes with last time. This was the 3rd German riesling drank out of a total of 4 and was probably my 2nd favorite. This was also the only one of the 4 not from the Mosel. Light yellow color. Hint of frizzante in the glass. Well balanced, great acidity. Not overly sweet. Very nice.

Had this wine last night with a few different mild cheeses, apples and crackers. Beautiful light golden color. Very aromatic nose of wet rock with a little honeycomb and citrus. On the palate, this wine had a very full mouthfeel with crisp acidity. Flavors of tart green apple and just a hint of sweetness on the palate. This is more of a dry riesling (12.5% abv). All in all, a very lovely riesling and I am glad I have another 2 bottles.

Classy wine. Very pale colour with a vibrant, expressive nose, full of fruit, zest and minerality. Ripe fruit on the entry with good depth and weight, then a surprisingly zesty and crisp dry finish. Doesn't seem in the slightest bit off-dry as one might expect a Kab to be. Intense. On the second day, this had opened up quite a bit to give a slightly more rounded finish, more typically off-dry and without the trocken-like acidity. Good wine, needs a year or two to develop properly I think, but good now, though benefits from some air, although on refection I preferred this after a couple of hours whilst still intense with a dry finish - quite a demanding wine rather than an easy drinking quaffer.

Youthful nose of lemon curd, slate, peaches. Palate was tart, honeyed finish. Barely any sweetness. Not sure where this is going.

Rich, some acidity but not crisp, orange zest aromas and flavors. A bit of sweetness. Not bad, but not memorable. Cellared since original release.

Fabulous fruit salad nose doused in gentle honey. Rich smooth and slightly oily on the palate. Good acidity balances all the richness. A nice drop!

Suprisingly sweet. Elegant and demanding. Think this will improve with age.

Lauber German wine tasting (tribeca grill): again - lean style, nice long finish, great wine but might be priced out of the market.
