So there is actually a frizzante version of this wine, and I did not realize that's what I had here until I went to open it and...no cage, no traditional sparkling wine cork. The standard cork proved quite difficult to remove, and there was a satisfying pop when it came free. The wine inside is nicely dry, but with adequate sweetness, and pleasant lime fruit. Has a nice chalky minerality. Goes down easy, too easy, and went very well with a buffalo chicken salad. Would buy again.

On the palate the wine is dry, with medium acidity, low alcohol and a light body. The flavours are of medium(-) intensity and mostly primary, they include apple, pear and light white peach. The mousse is comprised of medium-sized bubbles, the finish has medium(-) length.
This wine is of good quality since it shows good balance of fruit, acidity and sweetness, has medium-fine mousse, and has medium(-) length. To be considered being of very good quality the wine would need finer mousse, more complexity and greater length. The wine is to be consumed now and not suitable for further ageing in bottle.

Well I am quite confused about which wine this really is. There is nothing on the label to differentiate it from a truly sparkling Prosecco with a mushroom cork, but it has a standard cork and is the frizzante version. In any case...
Nose is lemon-lime and slightly floral. Creamy medium body, followed by slightly chalky citrus fruit that is mild and subtle. Acidity is on the low end, but this is still an easy-drinking, decent white wine with a little carbonation to liven things up. Loses those bubbles rather quickly though.

Quite nice bouqet with green apple peel, lemon, some yeast, and some sort of soapiness. Very crisp on the palate, surprisingly mouthfilling, with nice honeyed green apples. Quite tropical, yet refreshing, feels focused. I didn`t have any expectations from this, and it really surprised me positively. It over delivered, big time. Dunno, maybe I`m giving it a too high score, but I don`t think so, I also consider the QPR here. This is truly a great value!

Champagne yellow color. Delicate & floral scent, with notes of citrus blossom, fruit salad, banana & kiwi. Extremely foamy & creamy in the mouth with a light and fragrant finish.
Inexpensive, this wine makes an excellent aperitif. It can also be served throughout the meal – including dessert as long as the dishes are not too strongly flavored.

Seltzer water... Great bubbles. Not a drop of fruit. Added Cointreau and sugar and made a cocktail. Worthless as anything else. It gets a 50 for being a wine, 10 for not smelling like someone's feet as a bubbly white and another 5 for being pretty in the glass. As for taste ... yech.

The Prosecco OG Brut is the palest of straw colored, and is 100% Prosecco.
On the palate, I taste brioche grand marnier french toast, apples, and marzipan, while I smelled apple blossoms and ginger. Considering that this is only $15, my Prosecco snobbery has been broken. Gone are my thoughts of sweet, cheap sparkling wine, and in are my mm mm good tweets!

Light and crisp nose of florals and cream. Some mineral aromas. On the palate, it's got good weight and a creamy mouthfeel. Nice effervescence. Pretty floral notes over tropical fruits and cream. Crisp, yet lingering finish. Very nice!

The nose showed crisp grapefruit, stone fruits and sage. On the palate, I found a rush of acidity followed by a creamy presence with flavors of pear and lime. The finish was fresh with flavors of peach.

Not sure if this is the exact same bottling, as this one is prominently labeled frizzante and is a Trader Joe's exclusive. Green apple and citrus flavors, moderate bubbles, brut-level dryness. Very good value at $5.99.

This was better than I expected. Floral, crisp, and even a little creamy mouth feel. This over-delivered for $9. Will be buying more to have around for everyday consumption.

Passable, but not great. Crisp but a little thin, lacking the creamy body I love in a good Prosecco. There was a musty character running through both the nose and the palate that never did shake off. Perhaps it was a little corked, otherwise this is definitely not my style.

I very much enjoyed this simple, delicious Prosecco. It's a hair off-dry, which makes for a wine that tastes soft and has flavors of honeyed apple. Some tangerine peel notes creep in towards the finish.
