Gifted the last glass after the bottle had been opened two days prior.
Nose was a bit weird and I couldn't really pinpoint specific notes other than the things blended together weirdly.
Palate on the other hand had a wonderful freshness and acidity still, but it was dominated by more mature notes and a really creamy buttery fatness.
As I've had one over-oxidized/pre-mox 2007 Matrot Meursault 1er Les Perrières before, I'd be afraid to store this any longer. I also just think that white Bourgogne aged this long is not my preference.

Wonderful expression of chardonnay. Not even a hint of premox. Perfect balance, with the oak perfectly integrated. Slight touch of salinity, and an incredible long sweet finish.

Damn this was good. Layered, minerals, intense yet refined fruit, with fantastic bursts of flavors. Wonderfully penetrating length and weight. Damn you Matrot-just when I decide I'm done, you pull me back in.

Tropical flamboyant big wine. Lots of juicy fruit unripe pineapple white peach. Has a bit of heat and bitterness.

I bought these at a big discount. Not big enough. Completely oxidized. Flawed.

Wonderful wine with bright fruit and nice acidity. Drinking great now, but can improve in 2-5 years.

Wonderful version of Chardonnay. Subtle citrus mixed with oyster shell, and a saline quality to the long finish. So balanced and subtle.

Dark yellow color, totally oxidized. After multiple premoxed Matrot wines, I am done with this maker.
