Vanilla, brown sugar, baking spices, sour cherry in a lightweight, well integrated, food friendly package. Comparing to generic California Pinot Noir at under $20, this is superb - 90 pts. in that class. BUT, those seeking complexity won't find it here.

Color: medium light, see-through. Good Pinot color. Nose: some cherry, raspberry, not much else. Taste: body ok, certainly not heavy or very light. Dark red fruits, black cherry. Some tannins on the back end. A little hot. Short finish. After about an hour, lots of pleasant acidity. Good food wine - would be great with grilled meats, ribs, grilled vegetables. Also would be good with charcuterie, olives, marinated hors'd'ovres. Good QPR.

Good fruit on the nose and a nice pleasing garnet color. I little thin on the taste and short finish. Too single dimension for me. A little better the next night 84-85

The appearance is a light pale red. The bouquet shows gobs of brown sugar, tea, a little clove, and a slight mustiness. The palate displays really sweet fruits, but shows enough spice and acidity to round it out. However the finish is short, which leaves much to be desired. Still a really great qpr at $14.99.

Apparently this is 100% Pinot (can tell by the color) and 100% from the Russian River appellation. Most from this price point have petit sirah, or syrah blended in for color and weight. But this is all Pinot, aromas of cherries, strawberries, plum and flavors of raspberry and cherry and cinnamon. A touch of earth with a smooth, lush mouthfeel and a pleasing finish. Great with Turkey, Duck, even Salmon.

a perfectly straight forward pinot. pop and pour. nice nose, and tastes berries and a bit of citrus. A little heat on the finish, but would be great with Turkey dinner!

Great wine drinkable now. Earthy notes and taste of vanilla/Fr Oak support a typical masculine Pinot of cola nut, cinnamon, strawberries/cherries. Excellent when paired with a seared tuna and red beet risotto. Pecorino cheese a nice pairing too.

Nice strawberry/rhubarb nose and medium finish. Not a big pinot in taste or nose but medium intensity and very well integrated. Nice silky mouthfeel, a medium finish and a touch of garnet color.

Opened about an hour before consumption. Very pleasant wine, not much of a nose, but a soft taste and a very pleasant finish.

A nice little pinot. Takes about 30 minutes in the glass to pen up to show some spicy red cherry and sweet herbal notes.

Not so bad for a $15.00 wine - especially when 1/2 was used for cooking

Nice mid-weight pinot, with earthy cherry and spice notes. Showed more complexity than the NZ Manu we tried alonside this. Drink in the near term.

Nice cherry aromas, but thin and acidic on the palate - it might have gone better with chicken than pan-fried salmon.
