Medium light yellow. Very rich intense nose of butter, lemon, mineral and lemon dessert. Less rich flavours and a fair bit of lemon and butter in the finish. Rich finish.

Love the style. Very lemon and almond. Perfect to be drunk now. Quite warm and mature/fullbodied yellow fruit with a citrus backbone and a good minerality. Very fine balance.

Devin's Surprise Birthday Party (Q4 - Vancouver, BC): Tons of sea spray on the nose with soapy and waxy aromas, along with some oak spice, firm lemon citrus, and a hint of toffee. Lots of fresh lemon citrus on the palate, with tons of saline, green apple skins, cinnamon apples, and charred spicy oak. This always bats way above its price point and was a nice find. Crisp lemon citrus all the way through with great acidity backing it all up. Well balanced and delicious. Very good

WS Offline: The Secret Dinner (Vancouver, BC): Not sure if it was just this bottle, but this was showing quite different than it was a year ago when I last tried it. The nose was dominated by Roquefort - blue cheese, along with caramel, smokey oak, ocean mist, and salty toffee. The blue cheese carries through on the palate, as well as tart lemon oil, burnt oak, and crushed rocks. Long+ finish, ending with notes of oak and lemon juice. This has tons of depth and stuffing and needs a few years to really shine, but this is stacked on the finish and I'm sure has its best years ahead. Very good.

I really enjoyed this, crisp burnt cedar on the nose, with hints of lemongrass and apricot. Very buttery and creamy in the mouth, with notes of sweet steely lemon and oak. A full bodied white that coats the tongue with flavor. This is young, but drinking very well at the moment.
