Library purchase from Torrin, crumbly cork that I just managed to save from disaster. Plummy savory nose, some tanginess due to the acidity, nectar-like texture on the palate, hints of Worcester sauce on the long finish. I drank this next to the 2020 which was also nice but very different as expected. I think my preferred age for this wine lies somewhere in between the two of these—maybe 7-8 years post vintage.
consumed over 2 days. It is a must have with food type of wine. I had it with a burger the second night and it was perfectly balanced. Very good, but I think the later vintages are better.

Decanted for 8 hours prior to tasting then consumed over 4 hours. Reading previous reviews, I received a very different experience. There were intriguing aromas upon decant and the palate impression was actually quite restrained. Rather than jammy and boisterous, there was a sense of fine breeding with perfect manners. It felt like this wine was carefully constructed, its natural elegance a birthright. Actually, I was hoping for a little more disclosure.

Tasted the wine at Torrin's pick up party. I bought 6 bottles and I took this one to dinner later that day. The wine is drinking very nicely, dark and full body, smoooth. I'm going to lay 3 bottles for a few year. This wine can age.

kinda confused, agree with many of the other TN comments -- "ripe", "jammy", "hedonistic", "burn on the throat", "big and fat" ... that's what makes this wine a failure, way too much and not at all pleasant, inky and extracted and hot... not pleasant in any way for my tastes

We enjoyed the 2007 Akasha with friends after dinner and found this fine wine to be a fun starter for Torrin. We like the Banshee and Maven a bit more, but you can't go wrong with this fine Syrah. Good enough that we had to have another.

Winebum brought this into S&W with Greg - I was lucky enough to have a nice pour. Ripe, slightly jammy. At a whopping 15.7% alc. the wine is a hedonistic show stopper. It lends a really enjoyable burn on the throat - well made high alcohol. Spicy, floral notes. Great acidity on the finish to help with the balance. Classic Paso styled bottling. Rich but vibrant and in the end, delicious juice.

Dinner with parents and grandma. Truly outstanding and more intense than I was expecting. Big and fat, but all perfectly integrated. I think it could go 10 more years.

Pop and pour and followed over a few hours. Dark color. Lots of clay. Syrah. Dark fruits and earth; some bacon. This is tight and compact. This could use some time.

Well integrated - ready to drink. One of the better Syrahs I've had from Paso Robles

Absolutely outstanding! Drank over two hours. Very rich and deep. Smoking wine. Inky color, flavors of dark strawberries and chocolate.
