Last bottle of 6. Decanted for 45 minutes from cellar temperaure. Wine now beautifully evolved. Strong dark berry/fruit of the forest nose. Very round mouthfeel. Not hot despite alcohol levels. A real treat. Should have waited with others. This wine will continue to run for 3-5 years if well stored.

Dark in color, offering powerful aromas of berries, earth, dried herbs and bramble. The nose on this reminded me of Sonoma. Full-bodied and very rich - but not as heavy or hot as you might expect for a wine with 15.5% ABV. Loaded with luscious blackberry, plum and dark currant fruit. There's phenomenal depth and intensity to the mid-palate here, where the Shiraz seems to dominate. The Cab and Merlot peek through on the long, complex finish which features well-integrated tannins, along with alluring notes of oak and spice. Big, polished and delicious. This paired beautifully with our filet mignon. 50+5+13+17+8=93
Beautiful wine. This Stellenbosch producer is extremely reliable for high quality expression of terroir and adept winemaking skill. Stunning bouquet of deep plum, saddle leather, dark chocolate, coffee bean, and slight vegetal notes (green pepper mostly). Acidity is medium to medium-plus. Tannins are silky, well balanced. Big body with incredible finish. Palate explodes with a stunning array of dark fruit, rich leather, slight dark pepper, and incredible extraction of oak. Would be a perfect choice with filet mignon or ribeye. One of the best values out there!!! Enjoy!

Figs, cassis, bell pepper and a hint of bittersweet chocolate on the nose. Very fruit-driven palate, smooth and dense texture, enough acidity to be a decent food wine and still some maturing tannins. Unfortunately the alcohol overpowers all that. After 3-4 hours in the decanter it was finally drinkable with a steak and some grilled radicchio. The fat and bitterness in the food was a good even necessary pairing but couldn't conceal the fact that this wine is too simplistic and alcoholy to be really interesting. Considering the hype it was a disappointment.

Dense dark red colour. The nose rises effortlessly from the glass with lovely black and red fruits, mainly currants, figs, bell peppers and integrated vanilla from the oak. Superb mouthfeel, almost creamy. Tannins are definitely present but not overpowering, instead rather well balanced. Long finish.

beautiful nose of black fruit, oak, green pepper. I dont recommend pop and pour given its youth, but it drinks well enough early. Sad to see this go and certainly not an 82.

London Wine Fair (London): Perfurmed nose of violets, green pepper - soft on the palate with semi-resolved tannins. Drinking very well now and probably will age quite quickly. Good. Definately South African, but with a touch of class.

Absolutely stunning - after an hour in decanter velvety, silky smooth, full bodied. Ripe dark red fruits balanced by fresh acidity and ripe tannins.

Alkohol, eik og frukt. I mengder. Godt til grillmat, men aldri særlig elegant... Røft og brent. På en _litt_ god måte.

Very fruity with firm tannins that I hope will soften with time. Balanced acidity, A finish of 20+ seconds. I will not give this wine a rating yet.
