From my cellar, this is still powerful. Great fruit and minerality, and a hint of green on the finish. Still enjoyed but glad to have another bottle in the cellar

Violets on the nose with a raisiny under-note. Predominantly sour cherry palate. Wouldn't keep for much longer. Showed a bit more a few hours after opening.

This wine has finally turned the corner and is drinking very well now. The tannins are fully resolved and the secondaries are fully evident. There should be several years more of enjoyment.

One of those wines that makes you think you could knock a bottle off on your own. Beautifully fresh, clean aromatics, with violets, liqourice, wood smoke, strawberry liqueur and redcurrants, and a hint of mint. Round and giving on the palate, with a long sweet finish. After a while, the wood smoke got a bit out of proportion, but this is still a lovely wine that's drinking well now.

This was soooo delicious. Beautiful nose, screaming Burgundy. Floral, earthy with smoky tones. Sappy. Perfect balance, ripe red fruts start flowing on the palate and then darker fruits on the smoky (maybe a hint of tobacco) finish along a touch of licorice. Again lovely earthy notes. Very long finish. There's something a little Morey-ish in this Chambolle. A wonderful bottle.

La Paulee Dinner (Summer Pavillion @ the Ritz): Lovely floral expression that makes one dream of sweet meadow fields filled with little cherries painted like little lambs prancing about dainty sweet little girls that are dancing around in circles.

La Paulée dinner (Summer Pavilion, Ritz Carlton, Singapore): Cranberry red with a pink rim still showing its youth. Really nice for a 2004 though. Nose was pure Chambolle - wolfberries, lifted floral tones, light earth and fragrant mushroom tones. The palate was still tightly wound in fine-grained tannins, but had great purity of sweet cherry fruit. There was certainly some weight and sappiness here, but it somehow came across very clean, very lithe. Finish was very nice - long and sappy with a little floral linger. Excellent.

OK, but did not wow me. Did not have a chance to stand it up in advance. Pulled it at the last minute to replace a corked Beaucastel.

Drinking very well, fruit quite pronounced, tannins softening, very well balanced wine. Drink soon.

Medium red fruit nose but very balanced on the palate. Lovely Chambolle from Fourrier. Perfect to drink now!

Some nice beauty, though I am not sure if it will mature into a 90 pt wine.
