Ce mousseux du Luxembourg a une belle robe rose saumon. Au nez on perçoit une touche de caramel et de fraise. La bouche est soyeuse et passablement sucrée avec 14gr/l.

We don't see much wine from Luxembourg here in Ontario, and, judging by this nice bubbly, a 100% Pinot Noir rosé, that's a shame. There isn't a ton of depth or complexity here, but there's impressive sophistication with a fine mousse, limited sweetness offset by refreshing acidity and mild bitterness on the palate, and food-friendly elements that emphasize a savoury mineral quality, with cut grass greenery, alongside the acidity. There's fruit as well, cherry and red berries, plus some orange and grapefruit through the bitter, drying finish, but it's quite subtle, as this really is more of a minerally rosé.

100% Pinot Noir. Fermented in stainless steel, aged for 18 months in bottles.
Very pale, slightly peachy orange color. Somewhat restrained, delicate nose with nuanced red fruit aromas, some pungent and even slightly sweaty notes and a slightest hint of toasty autolysis. Dry-to-off-dry on the palate with rich, creamy mousse and moderately full body. Quite intense fruit-forward flavors of raspberries, wild strawberries, some cherry-driven pinosity, a little biscuity autolysis and hints of yeasty bread dough. The dosage of 10 g/l shows a little, although the moderately high acidity keeps the wine quite well-balanced and dry. The finish is long, fresh and pleasantly nuanced with notes of herbal, earthy and sweet cherry pinostiy, some ripe red berries and a hint of autolytic nuttiness.
An attractive entry-level rosé bubbly and noticeably more interesting than the regular white Bernard-Massard Cuvée de l'Ecusson. Starting to show some nice complexity and autolytic depth, although the disage also shows maybe a bit too much. A great and rather inexpensive wine for toasting purposes or just for simple sipping. Good value at 13,59€.

Pleasant drinking with a nice tension between acidity and some apparent sweetness. A bit of body and apple notes too.

Sec, moyennement corsé et fruité. Arômes de petits fruits rouges et noirs. Légèrement floral, croûte de brie. Pain frais. Bulle délicate, équilibré.
