Tremendous. I've backed off the non dose/100% Pinot thing, but have a few back vintages of this wine in the cellar -- thought I'd give this a whirl this evening. This is WOW wine. Surprisingly, some noticeable ullage. Berry, toast, brioche nose: seemless red berry candy vinous palate. Caressing bubbles. Soft, balanced, cerebral. More of a quaffer as there is little sugar here. Better with air and at a warmer temperature. Much more enjoyable from a Zalto Universal than a Zalto Champagne glass, no surprise. Probably worth it to cellar some of the higher end Bouchard wines and see what happens. Now curious to try the other vintages of this wine remaining in the cellar. Bottle age is indeed kind to these wines. First of two bottles purchased June 2010, sleeping in the cellar since that time.

One of my house Champagnes...showing more mineral and zippy acidity this time around. Nicely balanced. Beautiful on day 5,6,7. Amazing life ahead of it....if you can wait. Drink or hold.

Not my favorite disgorgement/vintage of this NV...certainly less interesting than many recent vintages...however, still not too bad...perhaps a little hot - this one only..

Pale yellow, quite broad Pinot nose that delivers a very pure balanced and elegant body. Precision of a laser beam, very enjoyable but I'd be interested to see how this develops with another 2-3 years in bottle.

Really tasty, and I don't even like Champagne. Ripe, thick and bready (can't imagine any of those words describing a still wine I'd like, but there you go).

Paleish colour. Quite a big nose, very Pinot though with some lighter more elegant notes too. Positive attack, really fresh and obviously youthful. Good acidity and body whilst maintaining freshness. Very good potential here. Leave three or four years. **(**)

Exotiska frukter, mineraler i doften. Som att gå in i en fruktaffär. Vinet är silkeslent med en fyllig och elegant mousse. Mineraler och smak av anis och viol .

Drank at home out of zalto burgundy glass, wine was very fresh brisk nose was clean pear and almond with a hint of wet stone. Bubbles subside immediately so don't look for flash. Finish was bitter and the wine is very full and complex. It should be interesting to try the 2008 version next year because these wines really show the vintage earlier than you would normally have the chance.

This was shut down aromatically, and the palate was very tight. There is a very nice texture but little else to go on. The wine was carafed (per the producer's recommendation) and the bubbles dissipated quickly. I later learned this bottling is based entirely on 2007, so it's really quite young. Hold, based on this bottle. L.01

I had this under less than ideal circumstances. The bottle had been opened the day before and the sparkle was gone, so I evaluated it like a still wine. Dough on the nose and nought was the predominant taste with hints of honey and a yellow fruit I couldn't quiet place. Everything suggests this is a wine to hold for seveal years before breaking it out for a real test.

Nice smooth bubbly. Good citrus flavor. Not as crisp as some others, but overall very good!

OK, I'll give you that this was one a little hot...but, unlike the last 06 I had, it was brisk and edgy.

This was interesting. Nice autolytics. Very expressive fruit and, well, delicious. But I worry the lack of acid means "drink up!"
