Pretty nice Malbec smooth drinking with mild tannins and dark fruits but they seem to be fading as it was not as good second day. If you have it would probably be drinking up sooner than later as I will with the last two I have soon.

Rustic fruity red, medium bodied, with a fragrant nose, fine tannins and a fresh, pleasing finish. Notes of tobacco and pencil shavings with the ripe dark fruit. Priced right at $16.

Delicious Malbec. Pnp and it was great. True Malbec. Perfume-esque aftertaste. I've had several reasonably priced Malbec's and this is definitely one of my favorites. So glad I have 3 more from WTSO.

Drinking very well!! Probably won't get any better than is it right now. Popped and poured on day 1, firm, well integrated, nice Malbec. Finished the bottle on day 3, things were not as good, a bit flat. Lost the "zing" it had on day 1. Still a great QPR.

Medium garnet-purple. Blueberry, spice and wet oak nose. Medium bodied, tart dirty cherries, pepper, grainy tannins, tobacco, a bit of heat, and a medium finish. Drink up, its probably not going to get any better.

This is a great wine if you want to drink a Malbec that has mellowed with age. It has some "Graves / Pessac-Leognan" qualities --- graphite and pencil mixed with spices and dark fruit flavors.

Appearance: Medium garnet, clear, long legs. Nose is very restrained on opening. Decant...vine evolved immensely over 90 minutes. Nose: Hot, with red fruit, sandalwood and savory herbs. Flavor: Sweet cherry and fresh plum, toasted oak, and blood orange. Finish brings anise and smoke. Attack: very soft on first taste, followed by acid, EtOH and tannin mid section, and finally a tannic, drying finish. Drinking window: Very approachable now, even as aperitif, although tannins and acid make this very food friendly. Enough tannins to cellar for several more years. Now-2019. Overall: Exceptional QPR at $15. Winner!

Good expression of malbec. On opening a rather closed nose. Decanting brings out the berries, not too tart. Taste has the herb flavors, coupled with mild fruit and mild tannins. A sipper - didn't need to pair with food.

This wine really needs 40 min or more to open, especially if paired with strong favors or highly spiced food. We only consumed half the bottle so looking forward to a follow-up sampling. Although this wine opens sweet, it does develop full-bodied, tannin laced characteristics.

Quite smoky, more so than most wines, but also light/medium tannin, low profile fruits, and some sweet vanilla. Nice, especially if the smoke goes with the food (BBQ?)...

Orange tinted dark magenta. Strawberry candy, rainforest, and cinnamon nose. Medium bodied, spicy, cranberries, tart cherries, soft tannins, smoke, and a medium but slightly bitter finish. Overall an enjoyable sipper at the Costco price.

Started off with some really interesting wet stone aromas, but was soon overcome by big, fruit and tannins, and a somewhat disjointed full body. This could be really nice with time or with the right pairing, but came across a bit rough tonight.

We enjoyed the wine. It has a nice purple ruby color. The legs are Medium. It smells like a light aroma of cherry. It had flavors of coffee, lead pencil, mineral, and tobacco. The body was Medium/Full. We will drink this again, but let it age a little more.

Popped and poured. I love the color, bright, clear, deep ruby with a purple hue where it meets the glass. On day 1 things were tight and hidden. Even with food, there was very little to grasp. On day 2, I poured a glass and let it sit a good hour. What a difference! Black cherries with hints of coffee and some minerality. Well made without being over the top. I can see this getting better over the next 3 years, and will make sure to decant at least an hour next bottle.

Popped the 1st of 6 bottles. Spicy to hot. Nice fruit and mouthfeel. I think that it will improve in the cellar. Ruth called it OK but I see enought potential to give it a 90.

From 100% Malbec, coffee, licorice, earth and black raspberry jam create the perfume. In the mouth, the is round, accessible and ends with a sweet, black cherry finish. There is probably no reason to age this wine any longer.
