Decanted for 90 minutes before drinking. Lots of dark fruit... blackberry, blueberry and plum. Ultra-smooth with just the right amount of tannins. Full bodied and well balanced. Our guests were very complimentary, enjoying it very much.

A whopper...open notes of black fruit preserves. Mouthful of fat ripe cassis and blackberry accented w/light oak shadings and a medium finish. Throw a flame broiled steak at it and it will harmonize. May get better with age but can't decide if there's enough in the way of tannin and acid. Drinks well at the moment.

Smooth, full of flavor and balanced, but not enough acid. It's great right now, but after a few hours of being open it started to show signs of oxidation. Still, went very well with the food I threw at it (chicken) and even tastes good on its own.
