Mid yellow. Fairly light nose, creamy and high toned. Sweet taste, a bit simple, rather dilute. Pleasant enough but entirely forgettable. Glad I got it so cheap! [Natural cork; 14% abv; Marks & Spencer, reduced to £5, widely available for ~£20].

Dark yellow to golden color. The nose is still very fresh with classical botrytis character. Sweet but not cloying, with good acid balance. No rush to drink but I am not sure it will improve further.

Strong lychee tropical fruit smell, more weight than I remember, a touch too sugary, pineapple taste. Long. Not a complex wine it seems to me, but enjoying the fresh structure and slight burnt apricot taste at the end

From a 375. Light in colour. Has that pineapple note I crave in Sauternes. Very sweet and primary on the palate, but with good acidity (medium). I was very pleased with this wine and am tempted to get a case. Great value.

clear yellow colour with subtle nose of pineapple, and candied apricot. honeyed, smooth, and of moderate fullness in the mouth. citrusy acidity carries through a lengthy finish.
NobleRottersSydney - blind Shiraz (Verde, East Sydney): {375ml, cork, 14%} (Stephen) Youthful, gently sweet nose. Medium-dry palate of lime and caramel; there’s a touch of vanilla/marzipan there too; it’s medium-bodied, not too oaky, and sits mostly on the front and middle of the tongue. Decent, though not terribly exciting Sauternes. Might bloom a bit with some cellar time.

SQ424/ 16Jun2013 (Singapore-Mumbai): With a rich golden sheen, honey notes, and the level of sweetness that is heartwarming, but not too much. Could easily clear 3 bottles had it not been that I was 35000 feet above ground and did not want to get too drunk on the plane...

A beautiful dessert wine in its sweet spot at a fraction of the price of more prestigious estates and vintages, this is highly recommended.

Intensily sweet, exotic. Perfect with foie gras, standalone a bit monotonous.

Simply excellent. Gold in the glass. A fantastic, exotic nose. Very sweet, thick, exotic and complex wine with a very long finish. Great!

Bordeaux Vinexpo 2013 (Saint Estephe/Sauternes/Pomerol) (Bordeaux (F)): More fruity, both at nose and taste, with a distinct pineapple note. Very particular, long mineral finish, following a good fruity mouth.
