Agreed that this is a bit polished and international. Having said that, this is yummy. Unctuous chewy black and red fruit. Saddle leather, licorice, baked asphalt. Could use a spot more acid. But really this is very nice.

Blueish dark red Aroma: fruity nose with a mineral touch and sour milk Full-bodied and tough acidity. Beautiful texture, but very present tannins. Good length

Dark, rich, powerful, but still lovely barbera. It needs food or a lot of decanting but it's delicious and not overly-made.
