Winner here for me! I'm not the only one though - most reviews similar and this won 2011 WA awards for category...this may be a year out in vintage, but delivers for the "steep" price of 30$ CAN. I bought the '09 to keep for a year. Buy more!
Oh ya - nose was deep and dark with some oak in there and brambly fruit. A little smokey spice. Palate was rich with juicy dark fruit, smooth acid/tannin. Finish is loooong - transitioning to a little smokey/oaky note. Balanced, and put together. Just darn tasty without a doubt.

Enjoyed this as always but drank this for the first time without food and a noticeable difference impression. Definitely a wine to be enjoyed with the right pairing.

The '08 Single Vineyard Don Maximo bring loads of fresh blackberry and currant along with dusty green herbs, tobacco, leather, petrol, chocolate and loamy soil notes. The tannins are round and supple and the finish is long and mouthwatering. The is a delicious Carménère and an excellent value rolling in at under $20! (Drink 2011-2015) - JD91+

Decanter Fine Wine Encounter; 11/13/2010-11/14/2010 (Landmark Hotel, London): (Decanter Fine Wine Encounter) This wine also has 6% Syrah and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep red cherry color. Complex nose, fruits and spices. Full mouth, well made, firm tannins, very fruity, medium aftertaste. This is a wonderful wine to drink now (despite its youth) and could certainly be adorable in the next 5 to 8 years.

Carmenere, done in a very silky dress. Or a very tight fitting three piece suit. And it looks good.
In any case, its good, its real good. And pretty good at $19.
12 months in first use french oak. 3 pump overs (do I care at this point). "We want all that spiciness and richness and black fruit as well" .
Quotes from Soledad Meneses, assistant wine maker at Errazuriz.
Pine needles in oak, and not in a bad way, in a friendly way.

Wine Company and Thomas Liquors present Errazuriz & Decero (Wine Company): Another solid showing for this wine with raspberry, dried herbs, coffee and blackberries. Good acidity and concentration.

Artisan Vineyards/ Haskell's Tasting (Minneapolis): I love this wine and it features floral, bright fruits, cherry, mineral and tons of flavor. Good balance and well made.
