Bright, fresh aromatic start of spring flowers and citrus. Lemon and lemon peel flavors, nicely bright and energetic, still fresh and exceptional for its level.

light gold colour. Nose offers up citrus ++. On palate nicely made with again dominant lemon flavours and some oak. Very nice cleansing acidity. Lacks fruit and intensity and finish for a PC but excellent for a BOURGOGNE.

A little better than last bottle, think the additional year in the cellar helped. Great honeyed pear and apple on the nose. Taste had apple, pear, with a slightly heavier body than I remember. A little fuller and more fleshed out. A hint of caramel? light oak, and great acidity with a very nice finish.

Damn, this is so good, better than the last bottle a year ago and I have to kick myself repeatedly for not buying a 1/2 case of this wine. About 30 mins of air, put a chill on it, drank excellent. Lemon peel, sliced green apple, some pear and strong slate notes. My son in law who was drinking it with me noted a lemon meringue on the finish, which is a very nice description. I'd add that this meringue comment should not be taken as sweet or dessert-like, which this wine is not. It's clean, refreshing, shows terrific delineation. Could be mistaken for a Chablis blind. Excellent and even more astonishing, 20 bucks. I just hope the 2009 doesn't lose the delineation that this 2008 packs.

Sadly this is now my 2nd to last bottle out of a full case. What a great summer white wine. Starts and ends with great refreshing smells and tastes of lemon and lemon peel, with great acidity and fun baby fat. A screaming bargain at its quality level.

This wine hits the sweetspot pretty well. Aromas of banana, honey, and a touch of smoke powers confidently up from the glass leading to a lush and juicy mouthfeel. Long caressing finish. Really elegant white Burg from Dublere.

A lot of intensity for this money or appelation. I feel this has the tight acidic structure of some racy Chablis but with a Puligny kind of spicier touch. But mostly apple peel, lemon and chalk. The finish is nicely tart, chalky and amazingly long. Terrific wine.

I'll agree with Rich on this wine--he's got it pretty well nailed. Green apple, lots of it, pear and as it breathes and warms a bit, lemon turns to lime with some flint finishing the wine. There is quite a bit of apple tartness in this bottling. I suspect some additional air will help....and with more air, almost Chablis-like, with a pretty good swath of acid in this wine, which lays over the green apple and lemony tart finish, along with minerals/flint. Paid $20 for this, solid wine. Can stand to age a bit, too. Great value.

Full, simple but pleasing nose of granny smith apple and minerals. Palate has a great tightly wound core of mouth-puckering acidity. Very Chablis-like in body, verve and flavor profile with apple, lime, chalk and minerals. Intense across the mid-palate into a long, wafting finish. Quality stuff!

Clear lemon colour. Nose offers up citrus, oak, honey. On palate citrus fruits, stone fruit and smokey vanilla. Mouth cleansing acidity.

Good value for the money. Great honeyed pear and apple on the nose. Taste apple, pear, crispy, light oak, but not too much.

Slightly floral start with apple and lemon zest aromas, followed by the same flavors. Very good weight and depth for Villages.
