Short note - still fresh youthfull, lime, slate, peach, high acidity, off-dry palate, nectar and floral notes, very precise and clean. Very good if not outstanding quality, 91-92p

Remains pale; expressive, typical Mosel, fresh, direct, develops floral & sandstone notes ; crackling energy, dry - touch of residua, well proportionedl; finishes dry but dramatic, sweeping finish. Later more blunt. Will easily age 5, but better now.

Lime zest and juice, canned peach, rusty iron, and wet slate. Brilliant balance of zesty acidity, moderate sweetness and salty minerality. Just lovely!

PnP in a restaurant. In nose there isn´t any hint of the maturity of 8 years. In the nose grape juice with tropical fruit - not with excessive character but subtle. Also on the palate no hint of the maturity. Blind I would guess of a max. 4 years old Kabinett. On the palate same fruit but accompanying with fresh acidity and present slate zest. Very good balance.
I would not say that this QbA might be better in 2 years, but it will hold that current wonderful level for at least another 4-5 years.
Very surprisingly experience for me.

Very pale, almost clear color, with slight green glints. Nose of daiquiri, peach, fresh cut grass, and a rubbery note like a freshly opened can of tennis balls. The palate has sweet ripe peach flavors, with a faint touch of Meyer lemon. This finishes very clean, with subtle acidity. Delicious now as an apéritif.

This is a phenomenal wine for the price. Packing serious fruit and minerality. Delicious grapefruit, pineapple, tropical fruits on the pallet. I am enjoying the second bottle more than the first.

Still really good. Razor sharp, fresh and incredibly vibrant with fresh pear, lime and green apple fruit accented by gentle mineral and herbal notes, all conveyed with a sense of remarkable lightness and purity. Ridiculous quality for a QbA.

EGON MULLER tasting (Rotterdam, Netherlands): Pale yellow color. On the nose lemon and peach. On the palate, apple, lime, unripe pineapple aromas and some beautiful minerals. Power and finesse a very precise and elegant wine! (10% alcohol). Significantly higher quality than the Château Bela.

Incredibly fresh with mouthwatering acidity, great texture, green apple, citrus rind, and floral notes all put together with a Saar laciness to its texture. Fruit, stone, sugar, and acid all playing very well together. Sharp, precise, bright, layered, and incredibly drinkable yet complicated enough to make it interesting. This is a wine whose parts add up to a greater whole. Outstanding stuff and fighting well above its QbA weight class.

Alluring riesling notes of nettles, iron, yellow grapefruit, green lime and lots of slate minerality. So fresh, so pure, so mineral. Ahh, it's like having a fresh shower, but on the inside of your body. Purrrfect....

Delicious. The electric sizzle obscures the sweetness for a little bit, but it gets more luscious in the glass and eventually the sweetness comes out. Not sure why this is a mere QbA as it's certainly equal in quality and style to any number of predicate wines. This was a killer buy at $10 from Premier Cru.

Obviously very slatey and slightly sulphurous nose - minerals and mothballs. Less fruity than a year ago, with fine hints at green apple and white peach. Pure, refreshing taste with zzingy acidity and discrete sweetness. Drinks like water from the well, brings instant joy & happiness as a starter/apetizer.

Not that I expected it, but not much has changed in 7 months since i last had this. Tight and dry, green, a bitter edge on the finish. Give this another couple years and hope for the best.

pop-n-pour; fruity and appealing bouquet and palate; medium- body; really like the lingering aciditiy in finish, it's not complex but extremely pleasing; excellent QPR

More floral and vividly stony than other bottles I've had earlier, still showing the same core of bright fruit and conveying flavours with a remarkable sense of balance and refreshment.

Alcohol :: 10% AP. 01.10. Popped and poured and this was very tight and sulphur dominated. Approx 8hrs later, the wine is fully opened for business. White floral scents with grapefruits, citrus and mineral on both nose and palate with relatively sweet entry and well balance by the mouth watering acidity as well as the soft, rounded mineral. Short to medium length, mineral infused finish. A very well made QBA and in fact the sweetness and weight matched up some Kabinett from some low-mid end producer.

Grapefruit and green apple on the nose. The nose carries through on the palate with the addition of green melon and subtle tropical notes. Good acidity and great balance....this will drink well for a few years, good stuff!

This one's all about refreshment. It's not overly complex, packed with fresh pear and apple fruit with faint floral and mineral accents, but it's in that Lauer range of feinherb sweetness with moderate residual sugar that provides just a hint of sweetness and phenomenal acidity that keeps it incredibly light, vibrant and refreshing. Glad to have a few more of these, though I suspect I'll drink through most by the end of summer.

Alcohol :: 10% AP-3-567- 142-01-10. Straw yellow. 60mins (or more) in the glass, mild citrusy aromas with graprfruits, mineral and hint of perfume red floral on both nose and palate. Refreshing, slightly wider flavor spectrum on the intense palate with a little dose of fresh honey and kerosene, relatively good depth and tension that finish quite powerful, crisp. This need to serve really chilled as there were this touch of alcohol heat present at the very end when the wine warm up. Very good for the summer. Buy - Maybe.

Gripping acidity, with just enough residual sugar to prevent drinking this from being an exercise in masochism (I mean that in a good way) Some significant sulfur was present upon opening; it blew off within several minutes. This is just dripping with minerality--like drinking liquid rocks. This shows way above its class!
