Tasted blind from a decanter. Clear lemon, with medium intensity. The nose is clean, of medium plus intensity. The nose is youthful and fresh but is not likely to improve with age. There is a flood of beautiful floral aromas (orange blossom and gardenia), ripe nectarine and melon. The palate is dry and quite a departure from the aromatic sweetness of the nose. The palate has flavors of stone fruit (peach) citrus (grapefruit), melon and a nice minerality. The acidity is medium, the alcohol and body are all medium to medium plus. The flavor intensity is medium plus, but the length of the finish is rather short. Overall, the wine was good, but disjointed. Maybe that is the nature of Torrontes itself. Very drinkeable now, and not intended for ageing. A great value at $10.00 and below. I liked it better than the other tasters, who found it to be just acceptable.

Very impressive for the price. A bit of a cross between a Sauvignon Blanc and a Viognier. Lively citrus notes, floral elements and a pleasing bitter edge to it, like ginger root. Nice crispness and high in refreshment value, especially on this hot day. On the second day, I noticed a slight Gewurtz-like lychee note; still holding a nice acidic bite.

A nice surprise for such an inexpensive wine. Floral and peachy. Good crispness and balance. Nice, lean mouth feel. Not much depth or finish, but this definitely over-performs.

I prefer red and not a huge fan of white but I decided to give it a try. I want to say of all the whites I have tried, this is probably one of the best so far along with grave. I had it with a chicken dish and it was very good. Clean and smooth finish with a hint of pineapple. Very easy to drink.

Pours golden straw yellow 4 Nose is floral with pear and mineral 14 Tasting delivers more of the pear and mineral found in the nose, light bodied with crisp acids that fade cleanly into a pleasant finish that offers green apple and pear 16 Overall good value @ $12 US or less - relatively simple wine overall, but for the varietal it is quite good 5

light, citrusy nose with hints of pineapple, which carries through to the palate with hints of grapefruit and a lovely biting acidity. Finish is smooth and lasting, making you want more.

Nice Torrontes, floral but without the waxy, soapy smell and taste that sometimes can creep into wines made with this grape. Fresh, but rather weighty in the mouth which makes it a good partner for richer seafood dishes. Floral aromas (lemon blossom, white flowers, honeysuckle) give way to a palate of citrus (Meyer Lemon, lime), melon, and peach. Had with crab tostadas and it was an outstanding match.

Light green. Musky nose with lime sherbet and greengage. Full and fragrant with fresh peach, orange and lime juice; fresh acidity and a nice touch of minerality.

Golden color. Nice bouquet and medium to heavy mouth feel with taste of lime and tropical fruit. Bit off balance in the end.

Not a very ambitious wine. Export focus. In any case, typical "torrontes"; tasty; and easy-drink

Nice bottle of wine. Never had a Torrontes before but this was vibrant and had nice smells of flowers and apples. Would buy against for the price

Crisp, clean, full of floral notes. Tight acidity and pears in the mouth. Great value and example of this varietal.

Flavors and bouquet are more muted than the 2008. Not bad, but not as good as 2008.

Not as flavorful as 2008. This vintage had a hint of fuel that overcame the "nutmeg' flavor. Will see what the next bottle holds.
