Raspberry moose, coffee beans, caramelized nuts and botyris on the nose. Palate was rich and balanced. Very nice. Although the 69 dom oeno was served alongside, it still held its own ground.

Leo's Blind Tasting Group - July '13 edition (Cookshop, NY): I might have been in the minority at the table here, found this pleasant but not particularly compelling. A rather deep, almost orange-pink colour, still quite effervescent with a very savoury, toasty and nutty aroma framing bright citrus and red fruits with a faint oxidative element on the palate. There's good length and it's nicely balanced, but I didn't find it particularly interesting.

Pinkish orange in color, fantastic nose of toasty red fruit with very slight oxidation. Palate with good attack, fine and persistent bubbles, toasty and yeasty, very long finish with almost perfect acidity balance. A very very fine Dom rose drinking perfectly now.

Night of the titans (Onda Mezzanine, Oslo): Dyp, gyllen guloransje. Mild, mørk, søtlig nese med kamfer, karamell, voks, sopp og lynghonning. Floral. Dyp, kamferpreget frukt med karamell og honning. Imponerende friskhet for årgangen. Fin lengde

Beautiful deep rose color and very active mousse. This is the only vintage in which DP made a Rosé but not a white. Full on the palate. Burgundian dark fruit flavors. Persistent and fine and seems much younger than 25 years. A total success in a very off year.

Perfect condition. The color of an aged rose- simply amazing! The nose was intense with lots of toated bread and some hints of smoke. The palate was great in balance with remarkable acidity content which is why this held so well. Creamy bubbles, and flavors of aged yeast and again the flavors of toast and smoke. Great finish - this was a perfect pair with a orecchiette with cream salmon sauce.

The French Laundry...21 Courses, 11 Wines, Infinite Memories; 7/21/2007-7/22/2007 (The French Laundry (Yountville, Napa Valley, California)): "Oysters and Pearls" is a signature dish of the French Laundry, consisting of pearl tapioca with beau soleil oysters and white sturgeon caviar. This dish was absolutely delicious and would be worth the trip even if nothing else had been served! The subsequent course was a generous piece of grilled Thai red snapper served with marinated baby mizuno and soybeans (from Jacobsen Farms) and Rangpur lime. The Dom Rose showed a beautiful medium salmon-colored robe and a very active bead for a mature Champagne. The bubbles could only be described as micro in size. The dominant aromas on the nose were those of strawberries, nutmeg, bread dough and coriander. Medium-bodied on the palate and with a full creamy-textured middle, the flavors were comparable to the nose and the finish was very long. The crisp acidity yet creamy nature of this Champagne made for a nearly perfect match with both courses. I scored this wine a conservative (unblinded) 95. It should remain delicious for at least 5-8 more years.

Phoenix eRP Offline - Best of Cellar (Backstreet Wine Salon, Phoenix): An intriguing golden red in color. Mocha, coffee, toast, sweet fruit. Very light on it's feet with great acidity. Extremely complex. 60+ second finish. One of the finest rose's I have ever tasted. Brought by Dave.

Many this was a great option in the middle of a stellar line up. Fresh and lively. Good notes of strawberry and a little zest.

Anti Bag in Box Dinner: Some nuts, deep, almost caramel, developed, warmish fruit, but still very good bottle for the vintage.

Mon's 56th Chef's Table in the Four Seasons Chicago (Four Seasons, Chicago): Dark amber color, lost of bubles, good after taste, not a burnt nose, a little materized, more pinot grape, refreshed on the palate.
