If you have a bottle of the 2009 drink it now; it may be too late anyway. Bad nose at first but once it opened up with some agitation it has a decent nose and very mild palate. Whatever was there in other bottles a year ago is..tannins, tobacco, decent acid, terroir, all seems gone. Not much in the way of mouthfeel. Just some dried fruit like raisin and blackberry on the nose, blackberry itself in the taste, and more than a dash of black pepper in the taste remain. Drinkable, decent, but nothing special.

Nice inexpensive wine, great Loire personality, food friendly. Loved it. Nice slightly chilled, say, a glass with lunch.
The next day, some of the roughness recedes, and gives way to a meaty, funky (pleasantly so) nose. Surprised to find quite a bit of underlying complexity.

More stony berry fruit than the last bottle, yet still defined by a warm, sweet tomato succulence and fresh-tilled, earthy minerality. Lacy, carbonic-like structure. Supple, composed, delicious.

Piquant black pepper on the nose, succulent and juicy on the palate with a pleasing savoriness of sweet tomato and soil. Warm and supple with good energy, light grip, and lip-smacking delectability.

Stunningly delicious, precise minerality, fantastic with grilled eggplant and feta pizza, slurpable, delicious mineral driven red I could drink forever.

Juicy red fruits, just a hint of a tannic backbone and much fun. As I misremembered the grapes involved, Jean and I both felt that there was quite a bit of Gamay character -- yeah, right! It had that sense of lightness on the palate, though, and I'd have been hard pressed to peg it as Loire Cab Franc, etc. Quite different in character from Pif and Trinch!

50% Cab Franc with the remainder and combination of Cab S/Merlot/Malbec. This was like a light bodied Chinon showing soily expression with strong tannin and acids.

I really enjoy this little guy. Some carbonic aromas and very high acidity, but fun, cuts through fatty foods (chili, in my case). Not green or too funky at all. Yummers.

A lot of dark fruit on the nose. Interesting tobacco. Palate is also showing plenty of dark fruit with grippy tannins. A little unfocused. Short finish but overall a nice little wine avoiding being too jammy in that hot vintage. At times, this wine takes you to Beaujolais because of its profile (and I wouldn't be surprised if there was some carbonic maceration here) but there's too much tannins for a gamay. To drink in the short term.

Delicious! A very charming, light, berry/herbal red with a little bit of a "fruity" persona, but the acids really bring this to another level. I loved it, and most thought it was a perfect food friend. Not a cocktail wine.

Cab franc, malbec and merlot from the master of muscadet. Stunningly fresh and pure wine with perfectly defined aromas, beaujolais-like minerality, great elegance and balance (12% alcohol). At 115 SEK/€12/$15 this is a screaming bargain to buy by the caseload.

Drinking window listed for this is too narrow, this is not a wine of insignificant structure. 'til 2015 at least.

Good structure, focused on the palate. Some tea, earth and tobacco notes. Best with food. 88 points.

Vinet påminner om beaujolais med tanke på mineraliteten och bodega colomes amalaya i frukten. Väldigt gott med myckeet ren röd frukt.
