Nose with gentle oak, stone fruit and minerals. Palate has good minerality with lots of balanced stone fruit. Rather simple on the palate but certainly enjoyable. It will improve with aging.

A lazy holiday lunch - Arnoux, Marcassin, Drouhin, Machina, Dujac and etc. (Blacksalt, Washington DC): Really interesting wine. Really dense for a Bourgogne blanc. Ripe sour yellow fruits, slightly unripe peach, lactic and mineral. Excellent concentration, piercing acidity and long finish. I am surprised by the level of concentration. The piecing acidity is perhaps due to this coming from Hautes Côtes de Nuits.

Talk about a rare bird! I did not even know that DRC made a HCdN? No formal notes on this, but it was a really good and very much overachieving bottle. Very nice is all I recall! No score (due to temporary lack of awareness, after 14 bottles of Vosne Romanée 1:er Cru's, things was a bit blurry)

Lovely nose with white flower, fresh citrus fruit and stony, also quite a bit of nice new oak. Palate with stuffings belies its level, lovely acidity, still primary and a bit angular, long finish with minerals, should be even better with a few more years of bottle age.

This wine is evolving very nicely, initially still very tight and in fact took 3 hours to really show its stuffings. But when it does, its a pretty sublime white wine with very fresh citrus nose, quite a powerful initial attack and there come the minerals, loads of it, lingering and very long. Would really like to see how it continues to evolve but this is no ordinary Bourgogne.

Wow what a bourgogne! Nice nose of citrus fruit, slight vanilla soda and wet stone. Very fresh acidity and clean palate, very long mineral finish, very well made and would like to revisit this in another year.

I think this wine is at least one step above its appelation. Pretty rich, but with good uplifting and supporting acidity throughout. The oak gives such a classy aroma! If you can find it, buy it. Finish is so long! Excellent.

Great and attractive acidity with little weight. No oak of note. Very well done.
