Delicious. Voluptuous gooey black licorice and rich dark fruit. I'm not a big Petite Sirah drinker but if you want a powerpack of flavor, this is a winner. Nothing to detract from the pleasure. Would be great sipped with strong cheeses or to accompany a rich lamb stew. Definitely a winter wine. ps - consumed over several days (kept in frig, gassed w/argon), no loss of character.

Sheer, mineral-fresh, crisp, highly aromatic, still good fruit--white peach, guava, pink grapefruit. Satin texture, balanced, light but not watery. Becoming slightly honeyed on finish. Still going strong.

Consumed over 5 days. Very tight & bright first two days, all cranberry and pomegranate. Dark fruits come through Day 3, texture deepens, acidity comes into balance, pretty mineral and bitter cocoa. Thought it was fading Day 4, but still solid Day 5. Looks like a candidate for aging.
