Immaculate, restrained, lovely effort here. Minerality is unmistakably present, but in near perfect balance with the chard fruit. Almost austere but with more personality. Drinking in a good place now, will be ever-worldly in 10+ years thanks to well honed acidity and good backbone.

Decanted 1 hour. Drinking well now, can't imagine it will improve too much in the years ahead. Interesting, very New World profile, a little heat, subtle tannins, mild acidity, velvety mouthfeel, dark fruit. On day two there were more earth notes. Wouldn't buy again at nearly $30, but still very enjoyable.

This bottle really drank well. Popped and poured, used some for accompanying shrimp scampi. Began with a wonderful brightness, giving way to a balanced creamy texture (touch of mineral too), then finished with a high note of tartness. Worked perfectly with the scampi. Probably some life left in these, though tough to imagine it getting much better. Have had significant bottle variation, so still difficult to judge going forward.
