Deep dark with a black and purple mix hue.
Sniffy sniff have a delicious factor that are dangerous (One could sniff it all night and don't drink the stuff:) )
American Blueberry and Blackberry cobbler, with loads of cacao and dark spices with a pinch of lavender and a smidgen of bacon fat.
On the palate velvety but tannic. Dark fruit and cacao with a lot of spice, like white pepper, black pepper, thyme. Hints of licorice roots and violets as well. No sign of the 14,9 ABV
It will probably become more silky the next 3-5 years but will it contain all that fruit? Nice. Cheers

Dark nose of leather, oak, tar, blackberry, blackcurrant. Aired for an hour. Color very dark but the wine seems very clear/clean. Nice smooth first palate experience with loads of black fruit and tobacco, tiny hints of oak. Mid palate small tannins with some green and black pepper and more dark fruit. Back end very dry and a tiny hint of coarse throat treatment. This is a good effort for a second wine and will keep3-4 years more. The fruit is really clean. Medium to full body and the dry coarse last part of the back end will dissolve into a lovely wine.

Bood black red with loads of black fruit, oak, spice, dark chocolate and on the palate is shows exactly the same flavours with an acidity that is very nice. Good structure, lush beginning and dry back end with a long cherry and dark chocolate finish. This is truly a Chianti worth the bones paid 5 years ago. Still 2-3 years to go with no problem.
