Dark dark purple. Plum, cassis and possibly some woody bark type aromas on the nose. Not a very good first impression in regards to taste, fruit bomb. No mid palette. Light to light medium tannin structure. Not sure if this just needs to open up or it just needs more time. Wish it were better.
Dark ruby red color. Very flat nose overall. Not much at all, some normal bland red fruit. From a taste aspect, typical Cali cab. No fireworks or anything. Some blackberry, some earthy qualities, medium tannins, good mouthfeel. Not a bad, but not a great, $10 cab. Good to bring to a holiday party.
Very interesting nose, citrus, fruity, some faint cassis. Very thin wine in regards to mouth-feel; not a lot of body to it for my liking. Again I get the citrus, some raspberry, some hints of cherry flavored Blow-Pop and a little smoke, kind of bitter though. The bitterness quickly disappears, however. Tannins are just right with this one, nice finish. Decent wine overall and I think it needs to open up a bit.
