Adding note later on from memory: this was excellent. Very nice expression of Etna Bianco, definitely different than other traditional producers of this style (Benanti, Terre Nere, etc) but not wildly off base either. Aromatic, with ripe peach and stone after fresh rain on nose. On the palate high acidity, slightly tannic (from skin contact), a big wine, with citrus as well as some tropical fruit, and heavy mineral undercurrent running through the palate. Long aftertaste. Wonderful food wine. Would like to taste a bottle of this after letting it rest a few years, as I think the skin contact and acidity would keep it alive for a long time. Hopefully the freshness wouldn’t fade because this is a bright and fresh tasting wine.

Leans more in the “serious rosé” direction than patio quaffer. Pretty concentrated red fruit, sharp acidity, and very clear tannins making this almost drink like a clarete/light red wine. If it were served to me at cellar temp while wearing a blindfold, I might even think it was a very light Pinot. Bright red fruit, juicy, potent, with a nice stony undercurrent. This is a great food rosé, and seems to pair with many different dishes. Would be interested to cellar some of this and revisit it in a few years.
