Dark cherry, smoke, leather, dried herbs, and cured meat. Very savory. Excellent with buttery foods or on it's own. Cherry brightens over time, but never so much that it overpowers the savory notes. Well-balanced, especially after being open for an hour or so.

Excellent, especially for price; drank after Corcelette and Cote du Put (both 2019 and both on ice bath) and preferred to both. Meaty red fruits, spice, light smoke; dominant dried strawberry and velvety cherry. Drank at cellar temp, doesn't need an ice bath. Lovely reminder of the very special Cote du Py '09.

Plummy, smoky, peppery, unrefined. Meaty, hot, a longer finish than the nose would suggest.
