For me Was too much on the acid side than the sugar side I agree that the wine is less on botrytis and strong Its more light for me than many of younger
some find walnuts I find more dry grape but largely less than stronger sauternes
Balanced yep and no I would prefer less acid more sugar But yquem can be like that especially years like that I agree will stay young like 20years more without problem with this acidity Color was not to dark for this bottle

Surprising For me was expecting more dry But for me like half dry Maybe the smell help to think so For me was first like white rape fruit then change to mostly passion fruit and pina colada ( pineapple coco ..) Its well made, no citrus taste at all Like no acidity Not for lover of citrus chardonnay and minerality The taste not remember as the smell stay in mind

Red brown Smell was not existant on opening Let it just open 3h Nose opened but still light On oak spice Taste light not muted or so just light The smell open more after 1-2h in glass Find amarena and some strawberry jam Oak again But after 3h nose lost all the fruit to just earthy note
Taste was light again Light to medium body fresh acidity, light tanin first but more strong at the end when fruit gone
Nothing bad But nothing great The bottle had not many deposits Far less than i was expecting
