Alka-Selzer, iodine and citric acid. Bone dry and fhe fruit has no chance of carrying the wine without the dosage. Would not have marked this as a champagne blind. Bordeline unpleasant (but then again - I am not a non-dosage-enthusiast in general)
Deg March 2023 (2019 base vintage) so who knows if this will come around after a few years but I am not holding my breath for it.
Tried the dosage version in parallel which was way more accessible and the BdN 2018 was the clear winner in the flight looking at drinkability within the next 5+ years.

2018 Base. 69% Pinot Noir, 28% Chardonnay, 3% Pinot Meunier. Disgorged 12/2022. Young and racy, Strong lemon and honeycrisp apple on the nose. Sharp and defined on the palate, medium+ finish. Great.

Pinot Noir 70% Chardonnay 28% Meunier 2% Based on 2016 vintage with 27% of reserve cuvee. Disgorgement: June 2021. Dosage: Zero
Nose: Floral, Lime Palate: Tense but lively, really impressed with its purity and precision in aiming every palate point. Beautiful citrus notes and toasted notes of bread and fresh apple. Impressive wine. Loved it!

La Fęte du Champagne Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty - New York NY): Walkaround tasting with the producers. Almost as much fun as the version with dosage, but more intense and longer. This was 2019 base + reserve.
