Deg March 2023 (2019 base vintage) so who knows if this will come around after a few years but I am not holding my breath for it.

Bienvenue a Champagne; 4/20/2023-4/29/2023 (Les Crayeres, various restaurants, Les Avises and a many wonderful producers): Sharp and crisp and fresh and to me more of a wine meant for food and meant to almost counterbalance something (I kept thinking if we were eating something with a bit of a spice I would really appreciate the way this wine managed that). Zero dosage and not a counterbalance on the sweet side although there is a hint of sugar as with all wines. Drinks nicely and great price.

Really nice champagne with a majority of Pinot Noir around 65%, 30% Chardonnay & 5% Pinot Meunier, which gives a nice complexity with buttery, toasty notes and nice berry notes. A nice price quality ratio and a nice entry-level champagne.

Again ordered from Millesima, another batch not showing any fruit. Lovely yeast aroma of baked bread as a result of four years ageing on lees, but sadly nothing more than alcohol. I appreciate how clear this non dose is made, but without fruit it's totally unbalanced. Consistent among two bottles. Together with the Charles Heidsieck Rose NV and Philipponnat 2009 which are also fruitless, probably I'm too unlucky and have to stop buying from them despite of good price.
Would like to hear from other users who order from Millesima and see if the same thing happens to you as well.

Degorgement October 2012. This blend of pinot noir (65%) pinot meunier (5%) and chardonnay (30%) - probably thanks to 4 years in cellar after degorgement - shows clear and seductive aromatic hints mixed with elegant minerality. Very characterized and recorgnizable. Pleasure in the glass.

Looking forward to drinking this. Is non-dosé the same thing as zero dosage, meaning no sugar added? If that's it, how does the yeast metabolize to produce the alcohol (what Kurt Vonnegut used to call "yeast shit")?

A good wine with a very well defined flinty minerality and fragrant aromas of bread crust, nuts, peach and yellow apple. I am not totally satisfied by the flavour, the bubble was a bit too aggressive, particularly if compared with the standard Reserve Royale. Very dry, but that's understandable, the bitter finish left me somehow disappointed. Good tension and clean minerality, but I was expecting more.

Puzzling case: Opened the bottle and it had a fabulous nose -- all perfumed of floral and citrus parts, and a great fizz. Poured in glass and it immediately went flat after a few seconds and had no taste! None of us could discern anything -- almost like drinking distilled water. Now admittedly we didn't have any proper flutes on hand so the glasses we used were white wine glasses, but it just doesn't make any sense. So, if I was going to rate this wine I would have put it at 50 or so, because we had to pour it out and open another bottle of champagne (which worked fine in the white wine glasses). The champagne was a pleasure to smell, briefly, but then was completely a zero as a drink.

Bright, citric, and very dry, with a powerful beam of mineral that makes the finish bitter in a good way. We enjoyed it, but I agree with others that it's a good champagne to drink with food.

Based on the vintage 2008 (72%) with 28% réserve wines. The blend is Pinot Noir (65%), Chardonnay (30%) and Pinot Meunier (5%). No MLF. 2/3 of the grapes are sourced from 1er Cru and Grand Cru villages. Disgorged in February 2012.
Moderately yellow color. Quite rich, complex and moderately autolytic nose showing some age and ripeness; there are aromas of baked apples and oats, sharp citrus fruits, some nuttiness, a little pineapple, a hint of créme de vanille, a touch of butterscotch and a whiff of creaminess. The nose, however, fools a little bit, as on the palate the wine is bone dry, tightly knit and really sharp with bracing acidity. The flavors are dominated by tart lemony flavors and steely minerality with some darker-toned Pinot red fruit in the background. Pretty austere and straightforward with tremendous intensity and laser-like focus. The finish is bone-dry and really crisp with mouthpuckering acidity and a bit more developed flavors of bready autolysis, some leesy yeastiness and intense lemony tartness.
An impressive, focused and structured - but also a bit austere - Non Dosé Champagne; shows surprisingly complex nose and lots of focused energy for the style. Although the nose betrays some age, overall the wine feels still very youthful and primary. A bit too tightly-knit and austere on its own; I can imagine the wine will fare better with right food that would tone down a little bit that almost aggressive acidity. Most likely the wine will age nicely over a short to medium term in a cellar. Quite worth its price at 37,40€.

Grapefruit, green apple, and pear, with a hint of yeast. The fruit is complemented by the complete dryness of the wine, which makes a mineral element stand out as well. Very good, but not complex or elegant enough to stand out from other Brut champagne at this price level.

This was of base year 2007, disgorged Sept 2011. Drank immediately on opening from a white wine glass (vice flute). Incredibly chiselled--taut, nervy, but in the end probably more of a champagne to accompany a meal due to its citrus and acidity. Didn't succeed as a celebratory aperitif.

Discreet nose of red apples, slight spice and dough notes. Dry and lightbodied steely palate with quick moussé, citrusy bitterness and dry yeast character. Spicy to the mid-length finish.
