Aroma of herbs and strawberry. The color is beautiful, clear light garnet. The taste is slightly jammy up front. The finish has mild red fruit, think cranberry, light cedar and bright acidity.

Pop and pour out of a coravin's bottle. Aromas of cherry, strawberry, mushroom, currant and forest floor. Flavors of raspberry, cherry, mushroom, strawberry and earth. Ends with a juicy finish of 20-25 seconds with earth and cherry notes. Totes the line well between California and Burgundy. Just a little behind on the last bottle I had.

School House never disappoints. Tartrate crystals on the bottom of the cork, had to cheese cloth some out, wasn't expecting so for a newer vintage. After decanting, the wine took about 30 minutes to show it's true colors. Black tea and currant all over the nose. Very light mouthfeel with a slight pop rock sensation. As close to the full package as you could expect at a $40 price point. Such a hard wine to find, reminds me of Lagier Meredith, such quality juice, but very hard to come by. Snag some if you ever come across it.
