  last bottle of 12, pnp, previous notes usually fine, nice refined, pure style now beginning to fade, so drink up. VGI (17).

  There is a bit of raisin over-ripeness in this wine, but in the overall context of the wine not a big deal to me. This has wonderful red fruit richness - all in fully mature form. Quite succulent in fact. Really beautiful mature balance. Way up there as Chianti goes. I add that it has been stored at 53 degrees or less since acquisition upon release.

  Even better than the 6/2/08 bottle. Much richer and more complex. Almost like a great Brunello. My wife thought it should have been given an even higher score!

  Overrijpe kers, mint, jammig zwart fruit, hout (potloodslijpsel), hout, vanille,
  Vol en krachtig, na 11 jaar nog behoorlijk tannineus en bijna 'drogend', behoorlijke zuurgraad.
  Mooie wijn, maar deel niet geheel de visie van Parker. Nog teveel tannines en te weinig diepgang om echt overtuigend mooi te kunnen ouderen.
