  One hour decant. Deep dark intense magenta color. Blueberry, dark raspberry, and orange marmalade-laden chocolate. Very dry and very smooth palate, which is also slightly chalky and dusty. Firm tannins on the long finish.
  
  My score is just a placeholder. This is very youthful. The fruit is completely in the background right now. This needs a year or two to resolve. It’s got terrific structure. Smaller Clone 7 berries used here for their balance of power and fruit. Mark Carter was kind enough to personally host the tasting for #1WineLover and I.
