PWS (@ My place: Four Bordeaux.): At this domain time stood still…. I just compared the label with the 1962 Clos René (Which is the same wine or the first wine; not sure.) But the trees on the photo did not grow since… ;-)Anyway, my tasting note for this 2008: Dark fruits, good oak and vanilla in the bouquet. On the palate creamy red and dark forest fruits, good acidity and oak again. Some herbal and paprika impressions. Tannin with a soft but good bite. Medium bodied and still quite youthful. Start drinking around 2017. 87 - 88
