My hat is off. For just a pittance, we get a sophisticated blend of Rhone varietals in a classy package. Marsanne, Rousanne, Grenache Blanc, Viognier, how cool? Has super golden color. The nose is unique and original to my California trained palate. Nice combination of Old World style with California fruit forward intensity. Has close to Chardonnay type thick viscosity. Not exactly complex across the palate, we still have Rhone fruit and flavor profile that is unheard of in this price range. Just a touch of oxidation. Could use more acid crispness. Dies a little on the finish. Great job for the $$$

Better than I thought it would be. As advertised, honeysuckle and tropical fruits but I didn't taste the french toast. Still the despite an initially surprisingly good start the wine started break apart at mid palate and not only became a bit disjointed at the finish, some misplaced chalk and an astringent element arose, knocking the score down a couple points. Still, for $5 it's a relative bargain if the you likke the sweeter, floral stuff.

Excellent in the context of the price. Very typically fat and viscous as I'd expect for a white heavy on Roussanne and/or Viognier. Kind of a ripe melon/ripe pear aroma. Not complex or long on the finish, but tastes good in a glycerol-heavy way. Don't buy if you want a fresh-style white. Otherwise I'd say this could be a decent ringer with more expensive Roussannes or perhaps buttery but not super-oaky Chards.

Buttery yet mineraly. Had with homemade fried chicken and Mac n cheese. It works. Better as it opens.
