Nebbiolo grown on volcanic soil in the climate San Francesco oriented to the west, aged in big barrels (no new oak), 14% vol.
Decanted 3 hours before dinner but still improved in the glass. On the nose sour cherries, ethereal and fresh moss, on the palate fresh with fine tannin, medium bodied and good length, very elegant and not at all heavy.
Beginning drinking window, will only get better with further cellaring, if drinking now, a long decant is highly recommended, 91-92+.
