(NV Pol Roger Brut) Reminded me of Chablis with bubbles. There was a nice green apple skin quality and pretty dense bubbles and might have lacked a touch of refinement. I have found that to be a problem in 98's - - - lack of refinement.

Too light and somewhat hollow and short to compete with even the canapés, let alone the prawn and salmon courses. My fault, and fine as an opener/sharpener.

Opened at home with Sean and Heather. It was a wonderful with crisp green apple. crisp with wonderful creamy texture with tart lemon.
