  • This wine is very Burgundian in style-very true to the grape. Enjoyable. Went well with Garlic chicken.

  • Attempted to serve to guests after thanksgiving dinner, worst Chardonnay we have ever had. Dumped down the drain.

  • Bought this bottle at the winery's tasting room in the Willamette Valley for only $10 and opened and poured to drink before dinner. This is a real nice Chardonnay for the price: the nose is slightly oaky and conveys that the wine is going to be rich and creamy, which is basically is. We remember the wine being VERY smoky (especially for a Chardonnay) at the tasting room, but at home, drunk at the proper temperature (whereas wineries often pour their Chardonnays at or near room temperature (what is up with that?!?!)), the smokiness isn't nearly as prevalent as we remembered it being. At the correct temperature (50 degrees-ish), the oak shines through and the wine is indeed rich, creamy, and slightly fruity and minerally. We're not overly familair with Washington state Chardonnays (where these grapes were sourced), but for $10/bottle, this is hard to beat. Not the most sophisticated, tasty, or balanced Chardonnay we've ever had, but for $10, it's difficult to beat. Nice job Duck Pond. We would definitely buy this bottle again.

  • Very attractive in the glass. Nose is correct and shows aromas of Chardonnay. Tastes interesting and is true to the grape. Well received by guests at my home.
