Nose: A bouquet of red fruits with slight notes of pepper; very « St. Julien » like. S:-) 90 Taste: Fruit forward, a slight acidic after taste. Tanins are present but far from dominant. 89/91
Tanins seem to have settled. This is ENE that is ready to drink and at its best, very decent QPR.

Deep ruby red with slight purple tinges at the edges. Sediment and crystallized sulfites when decanted. Alcohol at 14% makes the nose quite warm. Terroir aromas of wet stone and earth. Flavors of bing cherries, cranberries, and hints of menthol. Medium-high acid. Velvety tannins. 61% cab, 29% merlot, 5% cab franc, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec. Drank 2-3 hours after decanting.

Encore beaucoup d’amertume et des tannins puissant. Encore meilleur 2 jours plus tard avec un fond de bouteille, il gagne en largeur d’arôme et l’amertume et les tannins sont plus fondus. Assez acide. Goudron et métal en milieu de bouche, encore dure. Cave pour encore plusieurs années, à ne pas toucher avant 2020. RQP ***1/2
