Kräftig gelb, ohne Brauntöne. Erstaunlich viel Steinobst mit reifer Birne ist noch präsent. Gefühlt ist der Saft nicht ganz trocken, sondern mit etwas RZ. Und steht da wie eine 1. Absoluter Wahnsinn, was hier nach 20 Jahren ins Glas kommt. Saftig, komplex, Tiefe, ohne anstrengend zu wirken. Das ist die Größe von VV in Spitzenklasse. Großartig!

2003 Dry Riesling - Ten years after - Part Two: Clear, light amber. In the nose, there's some Sauerkraut, sweet fruit, a lot of honey and some old apple juice as well as notes of red currant. Not nice. It gets better with air, but the note of old apple juice remains. On the palate rather thick, very sweet, rather flat, ripe apple, foursquare, sticky. Maybe, we didn't give it enough air and time, but this wine is really difficult and was - when given only one or two hours of air - quite repelling.
