  A blend of Syrah (73%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (27%). Tasted from a 0,25-liter bottle that has been kept at a room temperature for at least 6-7 years(!). 13,5% alcohol.
  
  Rather translucent pomegranate color with a faint, developed maroon hue. The nose feels a bit underwhelming with a somewhat dusty, aged edge, yet still surprisingly youthful with its aromas of ripe blackberries and sweet strawberries, some plummy tones and a hint of savory spice. The wine feels ripe, sweet-toned and a bit round on the palate with a medium-to-moderately full body and juicy yet quite understated flavors of black cherries, some ripe blackberries, a little bit of cassis, light plummy tones and a hint of peppery spice. The acidity feels moderately high and the tannins are more or less nonexistent. The finish is dry, quite thin and a bit short with light flavors of ripe black cherries, some blackcurrant tones, a little bit of savory spice and a hint of brambly blackberry.
  
  A somewhat understated but still remarkably decent and drinkable wine, considering how it is 14 years old and has been kept - at least - for six to seven years in room temperature IN A 0,25-LITER BOTTLE. I'm pretty sure this hasn't been a particularly noteworthy wine at any point in its life and age has not really benefited it in any way, but I must still admit I am baffled how remarkably well the wine still seems to be. Truly a vinous version of the eternal McDonald's Cheeseburger.

  Color is a deep ruby red. The nose opens up with dark fruits. A medium body that seems uncharacteristic of the cabernet that it is blended with. Fruit forward with a medium spicy finish, but not so much the black pepper that is to be expected with a sharaz.

  This did not cost very much, we did not have super high expectations, and end up giving this wine a decent score and review. By no means a stellar example of red wine. More an example of good grape growing and wine making. The color is deep purple. The nose is mineral and steel influenced blueberry and blackberry. The viscosity is surprisingly light for these two varietals, but I think that is a style thing more than being diluted. The black fruit profile is on the weak side, but still barely adequate. Not enough oak to mention. You know there is alcohol, but it is kind of under control. The acid is probably manipulated. Can't get excited, but also can't complain.

  Delightful aroma of sweet earth-soaked wood. A rich blend, each varietal complementing the other (73% Shiraz, 27% Cabernet). Spicy, deep and complex.
