Virtual Tasting with Friends #1 (Zoom): Medium ruby, with edges slightly fading, and thick legs. Nose of ripe blackberry, cherry, clove spices and peat. Acidic, and tannins still biting, and a fair intensity, mostly of purple flowers and cinnamon spices, then some underripe cassis, fern leaf, and graphite. Straightforward, while having a fairly nice fruity and spicy balance

Drank this with my spouse and sister-in-law at Somerset Medini.
Dark purple in colour with notes of fresh cherries and plum on the nose. On the palate the wine felt awkward at first and was more settled after 30 minutes. Notes of spice coupled with a velvety texture and chewy tannins. Not entirely integrated at this stage and not sure if it ever will.
Not meant for cellaring or aging; do consume this wine with steak, tomato based pizza/ pasta or chips.

Very good value for the price. Very drinkable table wine with good grapes.
