It's an ok wine for having a pizza or a hamburger on a Friday night. No more. I use to like it much more before I discovered much finer wines. Still, very good for a commercial wine.

2017 Jacob’s Creek Shiraz-Cabernet (23/4/2019) Cherry/blackberry nose evokes memories of cough syrup but in a salubrious way; very jammy black cherry onslaught that lingers with a subtle tannic backbone; undemanding crowd pleaser lookin’ for lamb. Blended to blend in.

Medium bodied.
Blackberry and blackcurrant on the palette.
Nothing profound, but fairly smooth and drinkable.
Great value quaffer at AUD $7.
