Medium ruby, red berry nose with a bit of cedar. Dry, tart, dusty tannins, some cola, nutty notes, ripe cherries, medium body, lightly candied tart finish. Time to drink up, improves greatly with food. The last glass was getting a little tired on the third day.

Light red, smoke and cherries, cedar, velvety tannins, crisp. Very tasty. Notice this note is COPIED...because Graniwinkle nailed it. I could not improve on that note.

This is a wine that surprises...even though a 2004, the cork barely had any stain from the juice. Color is light with some browning on the edges accompanied by a distinct nose of cedary oak. Nice fruit on the palate but probably a little over-powered by the oak and tannins. This is to be consumed with the heartiest of fare.

A bit of funk and rubber tire to it, with a touch too much sweetness. Decent but very modern.
