Quite good non cru white, with intense nose of citrus fruit, some minerals and hint of vanilla oak. The acidity is high enough to pair with seafood, and load of minerals and citrus fruit. The lenght is medium.

Pop and pour. Very light straw color. Medium legs. the initial nose is very vibrant and energetic, full of a mixture of slate, gunpowder, and quince. The inital palate is full while at the same time lean (initially it has a nervy vibrancy, but behind this there's an underlying persistence and concentration). Wow, the nose really reaches out grabs my attention. At this time the mid-palate is tight but pure and clean with crisp, well-defined edges and nice energy and balance. The back palate and finish settle into a pleasingly full but focused aspect. Was equally enjoyable by itself or with food (I paired this bottle with an assortment of savory as well as sweet items, and it meshed nicely with everything).

Grands Jours de Bourgogne - Meursault and Volnay (Tonnellerie Damy - Meursault): Tasting. Slighter riper and fatter start than the Bourgogne Vieilles Vignes. Apple, pear, hints of lemon on finish. Moderate length.

A little reticent/closed; lovely intensity and vibrancy on the palate. Excellent. 89-92.
