Bacchus Wine merchants trade tasting (Intercontinental hotel, Macquarie Street, Sydney): Funky, bacon fat, oak over stone fruit. Slightly tart lemon in the mouth. Medium plus acid, oak, spice, massive mouthfeel for a chardonnay, prominent tannin - built to age. Kind of nice.
